Sachin! Sachin! It’s been a more than six years when we last heard these chants in the crowds , especially in the Indian cricket stadiums, more likely of them the wankhade cricket stadium. But now! It’s the time to witness the almighty of cricket once more! It’s a pleasure to see him play once again and relieve our childhood days.

There is a t20 tournament organized by the Road safety cell of Maharashtra and approved by Board of cricket control of India (BCCI). It was organized from 7th of march to 22nd of March. The format is of round – robin and there are 11 matches to be played between all the five teams, including the final, which will be played between the top two teams finishing at the top in the points table. The teams are India legends, Australia legends, south Africa legends, Sri Lanka legends and the west Indies legends. The cricket loving audience can witness not only the god of cricket, but the man who set the super record in test cricket,on April 12,2004, which is unbreakable till the today’s date, the marathon inning man Brian Charles Lara! And with him we can witness the amazing and unmatched and impeccable Fielding skills which had saved many matches for the cricket south Africa and gave them the historical victories, the king of Fielding, Jonty Rhodes!

And And And!! The fun not only ends here! We can now witness those super pacy deliveries, toe crushing Yorkers and mind boggling bouncers from the super talented Australian Pacer and he is now seen in some movies too, displaying his acting skills now, the one and only! Brett Lee! And in the end we can see the spinner whose face was enough to freak the batsmen out, even in their dreams , the highest wicket taker in the longest format of the game, the test cricket, yes you can guess the bowler and the fear it produced in the minds of every batsmen along with the audience, the 800 wickets taker of test cricket, Muttiah Muralitharan.

All the matches of this tournament are to be held in Indian stadiums, i.e. Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune. And final will be played at the DY Patil stadium, Mumbai.

So all the teams are having 15 members each, who are now retired from all the forms of cricket and the average age of all the players is around 41. And guess what, Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador of this tournament , while Sunil Gavaskar is the commissioner.

So till date, two matches have been played in the series. The first between the India legends and the west Indies legends , on 7th March,2020. On that day, each cricket fan witnessed their heroes playing live before their eyes, with Lara playing his slashy ‘n stylish cover drives and Sachin playing his best shots and crowd going wild on every progressive run he took. And sehwag was hitting fours from the very first ball, just like he did 10 years ago! And in the next match Sri Lanka with it’s suberb bowling didn’t allowed Australia to chase the target.

This series is going to be an absolute stunner in the upcoming matches and most of the cricket fans were definitely wanting team India to play the finals with any rest of the teams and win the tournament.
